Wala Welt
A campaign concept for WALA GmbH bringing warmth to winter in Berlin.
Begun in Germany in 1935, WALA is one of the most well-established and highly regarded natural-based science brands in the world. The parent company, WALA Gmbh, is a non-for-profit research and exploration institute, which ownes 2 commercial brands. The first, WALA Arznemittel, is a homeopathic medicines line which is available primarily through Apothekes and by direct sale on their website. Usually the product must be recommended by a pharmacist. The second brand, Dr. Hauschka, is a high-end cosmetics and skincare line that uses only organic and natural ingredients. However, despite the positive reputation of these two companies, neither of the brands nor the parent organization is widely known by the general German population.
My project proposal creates a new sub-brand, Wala Welt (meaning Wala World), which will launch 3 high-quality organic tea blends intended to heal, support, and relax the general population. This will be accompanied by an experiential cafe space built from remodeled shipping containers, in keeping with WALA GmbH values of intentional and innovative re-use of existing materials for low-environmental cost with high value results. The space introduces people to the organic teas, gives them a chance to rest from the cold, to reconnect with their senses, and to absorb the healing warmth of the beverages before heading back out. It also acts as a mechanism to convey the larger WALA brand values of 100% organic products, highest value ingredients, and intentional formulations to the public.

Hauschka Haus
An experiential campagin concept for WALA GmbH bringing warmth to winter in Berlin by creating an earthy healing spa space that uses only Dr. Hauschka products. The spa was designed with a low-lighting, deep relaxation concept. Spaces are minimal and lit with natural or dim ambient light so that one gets the sense they are relaxing within the protection of the earth.
This concept was ultimately determined to be too costly and therefore was discontinued in favor of the Wala Welt tea concept above.
