Girl’s Night Out
Campaign creative direction for WNBA.
What would WNBA game attendance look like if Professional Basketball was really ready to champion basketball by women, for women?
“Girls Night Out” is a campaign for the WNBA that imagines a stadium environment and game-attending culture where women are celebrated all the way from the center of the court, to the very furthest reaches of the event space corridors, and all the way out to the parking areas and transportation systems connecting it to the city beyond.
WNBA Game tickets will include complimentary childcare in the in-house arena childcare center for the duration of the official game, so mamas can come on out to enjoy themselves without worrying about booking a nanny, nor stressing out wondering how their kiddos are doing.
Other stadium features include interior design and decor to appeal to feminine aesthetic tastes and amenities, like food vendors with offerings that meet a variety of dietary preferences, fun girls’ night out activities like karaoke bars, nail salons, wine tasting rooms, mini-spas and cosmetic shops, on-site tattoo studios and hotel hospitality offerings in an attached structure. Additionally, fun selfie-filters, frames, and VR camera filters will be available remotely for all WNBA game attendees, and complimentary photo booths will be distributed around the event venue. Group ticket discounts encourage girlies to get the gang together for a group outing.
